figured Id resp to Felguard
So I'm level 56, so I figured I'd resp to Felguard bause I heard he dosen't shine until he gets Demon Frenzy at 56. I'm wondering though, how different is the playstyle of a Demo lk from that of a Affltion lk? Like what would my spell rotation be? Any help is appriated.
The playstlye is totally different, if you were Drain Tanking that is. With the Felguard, your mh better off Drain Hunting. ast your least powerful DoTs first, so the Felguardan get aggro. Other than that, the way you play shouldn;thange too mh. While I was using Felguard, I would sen him in,astorr,oA and Immo last, Tap oe and Drain Life until dead or fuill health, in whhase I'd wand. Youan also try the multi-mob method, othersan probably give better info on that as I never used it. I liked to only fight one at a time, and keep my health and mana up sie I'm on PvP.
Iannot say I know a lot about felguard at 56 bause I respced to him at level 64. He is powerful aggro holder. Just in example, last night I was helping my rogue friend with BEM quests - he was trying to wrangle nether rays. He got add (what else but a pig) and I took it over. Well, my pet managed to taunt off half dead nether ray and pull it bk to me, my friend was like "wtf?!?". So youan assume felguardan tank nely 2-3 mobs at oe. Immolate is no problem at all if it doesnt land before stun. I hardly ever pull aggro with immo even if itrits. I neverast it on taunted add though, just on the one my pet is fighting at that moment or the one I plan to fear. If I fight one thing at a time I mind to keep maximal distae, that way Ian spam SB . When Irit (and that is the way I pull aggro) I still have time toast one more. tually I like that - I dont have to run mh if my loot dies on my feet. Otherwise you have usual feardrain lifeheal petombo in tight situations. Plus inteept, itan mean lot of differee if you stopinterrupt something heading for you for 3 s. I have enough hp even to let some melee mob beat on me for a while until Ian get my full attention on it. For me demo is fun bause killing seems faster. But then I never tried level 70 affltion build, in my 60ies it was boring for me. Oh and btw, if you have multle adds, remember to dot them all, my petan kill some low hpaster on his own so fast that I sometimes note it only when Iome to mob Iannot loot :D
